Powerful engine designed for agriculture.
The Series 5 KM Stage V is fitted with the FARMotion 45 engines. These engines feature 2000 bar common rail injection, turbo-intercooled forced induction with wastegate and a viscostatic fan, and attain compliance with Stage V emissions regulations. The sloping and tapered bonnet allows outstanding front visibility, that can be appreciated when working with dozers or other front implements. A new 95-litre tank - configured specifically to prevent fuel starvation even on very steep gradients - keeps you working uninterruptedly for longer. FARMotion 45 feature now has an extended service interval (600 h), reducing maintenance costs.
Maximum efficiency both in forward and in reverse direction.
Two mechanical transmission variants are offered. As standard is available a gearbox with 4-gears, 2 ranges OverDrive and a mechanical shuttle. This configuration offers the driver 16 forward and 16 reverse speeds, allowing it to work always with the right ground speed. In the alternative a transmission with a creeper is available, resulting in 12+12 speeds for ground speeds from 430 m/h to 11.8 km/h.
PTO for every needs
The 5 KM crawlers are available with 2 equipment of PTO speeds (540/540 ECO or 540/1000). Whatever the configuration, there is always an electrohydraulic proportional engagement via a pushbutton. The new 5KM Series is the ideal tool for a wide variety of tasks.
Precise and powerful hydraulic system
The hydraulic system has two separate hydraulic pumps, with a dedicated pump for the steering system and a main pump feeding up to ten hydraulic ways at the rear of the tractor and two at the front. Regardless of the number of rear hydraulic couplers, a flow regulator is always available in the standard equipment, allowing for optimal operation with implements which use hydraulic motors. The 50 l/min main pump delivers oil to the hydraulic utilities attached to the tractor. The 25 l/min pump mounted on the engine, on the other hand, delivers oil solely to the steering system. The highly precise rear lift has a load capacity of 3170 kg.
Stability and traction at maximum levels.
5 KM models may be equipped with 400 mm or 450 mm wide shoes. In both cases, the 6-roller undercarriage provides exceptional stability. These machines are also available with self-lubricating track chains which, as well as minimising power losses, also reduce noise and wear.
The best configurability and comfort.
For total operator comfort, the platform is mounted on Silent-Block, while a state-of-the-art seat with effective mechanical suspension attenuates vibration transmitted from the chassis and powertrain. 5 KM can be equipped with a 2-post foldable safety frame or a 4-post fixed safety frame. The first makes the tractor silhouette suitable for working in cramped spaces such as orchard or citrus growing, while the latter – combined with wide tracks - makes the 5 KM the ideal compact crawler tractor for open-field applications. The 5 KM is even available with a cab prearrangement solution.
