The DEUTZ-FAHR 5115K is a state-of-the-art open field crawler tractor that is perfectly at home working on any terrain.
Its potent engine, with an impressive 116 HP of maximum power, excellent weight distribution and generously sized tracks translates to a draft capacity comparable to that of a wheeled machine almost twice as powerful. This machine is designed and built for simplicity of use and for extraordinary comfort and reliability, while an undercarriage with 6 track rollers ensures that the weight of the tractor is spread uniformly over the contact area of the heavy-duty track chains.

Benefiting from further optimised torque and power delivery curves, the new FARMotion 45 powerplant equipping the 5115K responds even more readily to changing load to offer better performance than ever, especially at low engine speeds. The impressive maximum power output of 116 HP is available at just 2000 rpm, while the astonishing 472 Nm of maximum torque is on tap at just 1400 rpm.
The modular construction of the cylinder blocks and heads offers such significant benefits in terms of reliability and simplicity of maintenance that it has been possible to extend scheduled service intervals to a remarkable 600 hours.
The perfect transmission for every necessity
To cater for the specific needs of any user, 5115K tractors are offered with a 4-speed, mechanical gearbox with two ranges which can either be configured with a splitter (OverDrive) to offer 16+16 speeds, or with a creeper to give a total of 12+12 speeds and a top speed, in the lowest ratio available, of just 430 m/h. Both configurations are equipped with a clutch with 13" discs, a radiator dedicated solely to cooling the transmission oil and a synchronised reverse shuttle making quick, seamless direction inversion manoeuvres possible, for uncompromised performance in even the toughest task.
Lateral steering clutches and wet disc brakes ensure superior safety even in the most challenging conditions. Both of these devices are controllable individually and progressively for each track chain with a new pair of servo-assisted hydraulic control levers ensuring immediate, precise manoeuvres.
Extraordinary configurability for outstanding efficiency in every task
For unparalleled efficiency with any implement, 5115K crawler tractors are offered with a wide choice of options for the rear PTO, with 540 + 540 Eco modes as standard, and a 1000 rpm mode also available as an option.
The PTO is equipped with an electrohydraulically controlled wet clutch operated by simply pressing a button to start the connected implement smoothly and progressively. This solution maximises reliability and durability in case of heavy-duty PTO applications. For greater transmission efficiency and less noise, helical PTO speed selection gears are used.
Two separate circuits: uncompromised efficiency and safety
The hydraulic system of the 5115K consists of two separate circuits, each of which with by its own dedicated pump.
The primary circuit delivers oil to the lift and auxiliary distributors while the secondary circuit feeds the steering clutches, brakes, PTO clutch and the forced lubrication system of the transmission, which plays a particularly crucial role when working on steep gradients. This dual circuit architecture means that the flow rate to the hydraulic utilities and the functions of the steering clutches is not influenced in the least by the usage of the lift, ensuring precise, seamlessly smooth operation even at low engine speeds.
5115K tractors are equipped as standard with 3 double acting hydraulic, while up to 5 distributors, for a total of 10 ways, are available as an option. All distributor configurations come as standard with push-pull quick couplers, which can be connected and disconnected rapidly and easily even when the circuit is under pressure.
Outstanding stability and traction
The sure-footed stability offered by the 1850 mm wheelbase and the innovative undercarriage with 6 track rollers spread the weight of the 5115K crawler over a huge contact area of 16,650 cm², minimising soil compaction and ensuring high traction capacity.
The special steel track chains (which are also available as a self-lubricating variant) feature a heavy-duty construction capable of withstanding exceptionally high loads. Lubricated catenaries reduce power absorption and wear, while also significantly reducing noise.
Premium comfort
The driver zone of the DEUTZ-FAHR 5115K family has been redesigned with the specific goal of offering the same levels of comfort you'd expect from a premium-wheeled tractor. Four special silent-block mounts isolate the all-flat platform effectively from the high-frequency vibration produced by the powertrain, while the mechanical or pneumatic suspension (depending on tractor configuration) of the operator seat damps low-frequency vibration.
The control layout also contributes significantly to comfort, with all the controls organised into functional groups on the dashboard and a console placed ergonomically to the right to leave plenty of room for the operator to move freely. Lubricated track chains are also available as an option, to minimise power absorption and wear, and significantly reduce noise. In addition, the 5K can be equipped with a practical sun canopy and four work lights (halogen or LED).

Superlative efficiency first and foremost
Fully electronic common rail fuel injection with injection pressures up to 2000 bar improves the combustion process, minimising both fuel consumption and noise, ensuring excellent response to changing load and offering a tangible reduction in emissions. A dedicated electronic control unit automatically ensures that the optimal flow rate of fuel is delivered to the engine in relation to engine speed and load, and also lets the operator save and recall engine speeds to make repetitive tasks substantially simpler.
Better performance and more care for the environment
The development of the FARMotion 45 engines has also improved performance even further, to offer even more torque - especially at low engine speeds - and maximum power. The compact dimensions of the exhaust aftertreatment solutions employed have made it possible to achieve Stage V compliance without taking up any more space in the engine bay than on the previous generation of the 5115K.

A potent, precise lift and highly responsive lift.
As standard, the rear lift features draft, position and mixed control modes plus float mode. With a maximum lift capacity measured at the lower link ends is 3170 kg, these tractors can work with implements that could usually only be connected to a much more powerful wheeled machine.
