DEUTZ-FAHR strengthens its presence in Northern Germany with Clemens Hoping GmbH

6/26/26

A new partnership to reinforce DEUTZ-FAHR's presence in Northern Germany.

Responding quickly to market developments remains a key principle in the ongoing evolution of the DEUTZ-FAHR dealer network. As one of the most established tractor manufacturers with a strong "Made in Germany" heritage, DEUTZ-FAHR has signed a new partnership agreement with Clemens Hoping GmbH to further strengthen its regional presence and ensure comprehensive support for customers across Northern Germany.

The company's dealer development strategy focuses on building long-term partnerships with dynamic, growth-oriented organizations capable of creating value in their local markets. By empowering dealers to fully leverage their entrepreneurial potential, DEUTZ-FAHR continues to adapt effectively to changes within the European agricultural machinery sector while maintaining a strong focus on operational performance. Germany remains a particularly strategic market, accounting for nearly 20% of the total European tractor industry volume.

The agreement with Clemens Hoping GmbH is founded on a shared vision of sustainable growth, strong collaboration and customer-focused development.

"Our objective is to further consolidate DEUTZ-FAHR's double-digit market share in the region," said Alessandro Sapio, Managing Director and spokesperson of the management board of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Deutschland GmbH. "Achieving this requires strong alignment with our partners around the core values of the DEUTZ-FAHR brand. We offer advanced technology and a continuous drive for innovation, but these strengths must be matched by an increasingly professional dealer network. Only by combining these elements can we successfully meet the challenges of today's agricultural mechanization market."

Clemens Hoping GmbH is a well-established fifth-generation family business founded in 1897 and headquartered in Bakum, Lower Saxony. The company recently completed the acquisition of long-standing competitor August Bruns Landmaschinen GmbH, expanding its organization to approximately 280 employees across nine locations and further strengthening its leadership position within the region.

DEUTZ-FAHR selected Clemens Hoping GmbH for its professionalism, extensive regional coverage and strong commitment to customer service. The investment includes four additional locations in Cloppenburg, Aurich, Bösel and Haren, as well as the introduction of the DEUTZ-FAHR brand at the Uplengen and Badbergen branches, complementing the company's established presence at its headquarters in Bakum.

The partnership creates significant commercial synergies while positioning the DEUTZ-FAHR product range as a benchmark for high-horsepower tractors and advanced agricultural technology throughout Northern Germany.

"We are proud to represent DEUTZ-FAHR, a brand synonymous with innovation in agriculture," commented Clemens Hoping. "Our recent investment has enabled us to become a partner of a leading German manufacturer, marking an important milestone in our growth strategy. The acquisition has also strengthened our organization with an additional 122 employees, four locations and more than 65 service vehicles."

The integration of these important sales and service facilities represents another key step in DEUTZ-FAHR's commitment to enhancing customer support across the region. Beyond expanding commercial coverage, the strengthened network is designed to deliver even more efficient after-sales service and technical assistance.

Thanks to the extensive reach and expertise of Clemens Hoping GmbH, agricultural professionals will benefit from closer local support, faster response times and specialized consultancy services. This development further reinforces DEUTZ-FAHR's commitment to placing customer needs at the center of its long-term growth strategy.
