Agroplus with new engines and a new cab

Small compact tractors are still needed, as demonstrated by the popular Agroplus models from Deutz-Fahr: In the 62 to 95 HP segment, they have been consistently increasing their market share in Germany. To make sure it stays that way, Deutz-Fahr has not only revised the Agroplus series, but also equipped it with several new features. To better serve the the upper part of the segment, Deutz-Fahr has expanded the range by adding a second model, the Agroplus 420. The new models can be recognized by the new one-piece Deutz-Fahr hood with rectangular headlights.

New water-cooled 3 and 4 cylinder turbo diesel engines (TIERIII) are employed in the new models. These engines, with power ratings from 46 to 70 kW (62 to 95 HP according to 2000/25 EC) have an electronic motor control, an optimized fuel injection system and a revised cylinder head. Unique in this class of tractor is the way the electronic motor control analyses and processes engine parameters such as speed and load, optimizing the injection process independently and contributing significantly to reducing fuel consumption.

A special feature is the overboost, which gives the Agroplus 410 an additional performance boost when under load, in order to better manage peak loads or critical load situations. The electronic motor control responds by directly feeding more fuel to the engine through the fuel injection system. Power and torque are temporarily increased by up to 15%.

The new Agroplus special tractors

Compact dimensions, high manoeuvrability and practical equipment are among the designated features that predestine the special tractors for use in orchards and plantations, in the garden and agriculture, as well as use in local authorities.
With the new Agroplus series, available in the models V, S and F, DEUTZ-FAHR presents four new models (Agroplus 310, 320, 410 and 420), that to a specific extent is suitable to the requirements of the above mentioned professional categories. The compact dimensions (the minimum external width is, depending on the tyres, only 1114 - 1985 mm) gives access easier to rows of plants and manoeuvring in restricted space. The rounded shapes of the body and cabin protect drooping branches, for example in orchards or nurseries. Thanks to the large steering lock of 60° of the front wheels, the Agroplus V, S and F can be manoeuvred quick and agile, also in limited space.

Agrofarm series now available as ProfiLine with a three-stage powershift and continuously variable TTV transmission.

The tractors in the Agrofarm series are ideal for use on grassland, and on maintenance and farmyard tasks - great flexibility, a low center of gravity, superb maneuverability and visibility together with maximum efficiency and productivity. And all at an attractive price. But even in this class of tractor, farmers do not want to give up their comfort. And so starting from the Agritechnica fair, Deutz-Fahr has given the class a choice between two drive concepts -powershift transmission or continuously variable TTV transmission, together with two hydraulic systems.

The latest fuel efficient 4-cylinder Deutz turbo diesel engines are used, providing both reliability and smoother power delivery. The electronically controlled intercooled engines are rated at 99 and 109 PS (73 and 80 kW according to 2000/25 EC) and give a comfortable driving and working experience together with low fuel consumption, thanks to ample torque and abundant reserves of power over a wide rpm band. Equipped with modern high-pressure injection systems that achieve injection pressures of up to 1,400 bar, the motors provide efficient fuel utilization, tremendous efficiency and first-rate emission numbers. And thanks to the fuel tank with a volume of 140 liters, they can work long hours without filling up. Of course, the engines are approved for bio-diesel (B100).

Much is asked of a modern continuously variable transmission in a compact tractor - good pulling power combined with a low hydrostatic element, together with excellent efficiency and ease of use. These are the requirements Deutz-Fahr aimed to meet when they developed their own transmission system, with the operation of the transmission being based on the same principle as the larger Agrotron TTV. In each of the two working ranges, almost 100% of the engine’s power is transferred mechanically. The hydrostatic element is reduced to a minimum. This gives maximum efficiency without hydraulic losses at low speeds.

Lively and economic:
Four new Agrotron M models.

DEUTZ-FAHR extends their Agrotron M series with four new models:
Two new 4-cylinder models (Agrotron M 410 and M 420) and two new 6-cylinder models (Agrotron M 615 and M 625). Thus, the customer requirement for economic and powerful models are accommodated simultaneously. The DEUTZ CommonRail-Turbodiesel motors operate very powerful and efficiently, thanks to 4-valve technology, electronic high pressure injection DCR and the DEUTZ-FAHR PowerControl (DPC).

The tractors have the new comfort armrests; in the Profiline design, the familiar PowerComS operating management is offered, that offers up to six additional electrical control units. As standard, the new models posses all familiar Agrotron advantages: Comfortable S-Class cabin, four power take-off speeds and 4-fold powershift transmission with 24 / 24 or 40 / 40 gears and a new automatic function for the gearbox. If desired, the new iMonitor with ISOBUS and the Agrosky are available. The maximum size of tyres for the rear axle is 650 / 65 R38.

Agrotron TTV con cabina S-Class

Following the launch of the new top model, the Agrotron TTV 630, at Agritechnica, two smaller models, the Agrotron TTV 610 and TTV 620, have been updated and equipped with a new cab and other features.

The operating console has been revised in both design and the positioning of the switches, as have the new PowerCom V-control levers with buttons instead of rocker switches. The sound insulation of the cab has also been improved, and is now much quieter under full load.

These modern tractors are able to reach their maximum speed of 50 km / h at a reduced engine speed. Due to the completely electronic engine control and innovative DPC system (DEUTZ Power Control), the engine speed is reduced to 1,850 rpm. This means that the driver can save a considerable amount of fuel when moving between tasks. The motors provide the same output at 165 and 184 hp (121 or 135 kW according to 2000/25 CE).

New DEUTZ-FAHR Agrotron L 720

Powerful, reliable and cost-effective are the keywords standing for the new Agrotron L 720 in the power range of 200 HP and over. The Agrotron L 720 tractor was specifically designed to meet the requirements of heavy-duty applications on arable lands and very extreme working conditions in general. Recommended for medium to large size farmers and agricultural service suppliers.

Agrotron L models are equipped with the DEUTZ 6-cylinder turbo diesel common rail engine (DCR) capable of handling pure (B100) Bio-Diesel and featuring an innovative pressure injection system with 7 injectors per stroke and an electronic engine regulator in compliance with TIER III emission standards. With a maximum power output of 220 HP/162 KW, a displacement of 7,146 cm³ and consistent high-torque at low fuel consumption, this engine is the latest ambassador of DEUTZ innovative engine production.

The power-shift gearbox with 3 operating ranges and 9 HI-LO shifts was optimized for heavy-duty applications on arable fields. Sequential gear change is performed by a keystroke, while an Automatic Powershift Function provides for fully automatic selection of the best multiplication rate depending on load and speed conditions. A total number of 27 forward and reverse speeds are available in the crawl gear (low gear) range out of which 18 gears can be comfortably selected by a simple push of a button.
The new innovative features include standard hydraulic powershuttle and the SDS system (Sequential Drive System) that enables storing of the functions and the control sequences of repetitive work procedures. Moreover, the new Agrotron L is equipped with a dedicated DRP-geometry designed for agricultural tractors to ensure for maximum traction in the toughest conditions and effectively control tractor pitching effects.

The new DEUTZ-FAHR model Agrotron L 720 offers further safety and comfort provisions as well as a revised automotive-like brake assembly including hydraulic servo brakes for optimum braking performance at very light pedal pressure and electronic parking brakes for maximum stopping performance on sloping grounds. The new model features cabin perfection and maximum comfort under all points of view: pneumatic cabin suspensions, optimized sound insulation for low noise levels and a modern one-piece hood.

Comfort on a grand scale.
The new Agrotron X series.

Both models of the Agrotron X series – the Agrotron X 710 and X 720 – have equipment that has been even further improved. The models have the DEUTZ CommonRail-Turbodiesel motors, Type TCD 2013 and a maximum rating of 250 and 275 PS (184 and 202 kW) at 2000 1/min, that have four-valve-technology and the DEUTZ-CommonRail (DCR) high-pressure injection system, with externally cooled exhaust gas recirculation (AGRex). The maximum torque of 925 and 1047 Nm is already available at 1600 1/min, so that the tractor can be driven powerfully through a wide speed range. That has a positive influence on the consumption as well as on the ride comfort.

The new Agrotron S-Class cabin offers high quality material, an ergonomic arrangement of the control elements and greater comfort. With the new and highly modern control system iMonitor, available for both models as an option, the Agrotron X thus offers the greatest comfort for the driver. Because the iMonitor is fully ISOBUS compatible, all ISOBUS functions can be easily controlled via the iMonitor – thus, all functions can be controlled via a central terminal.

Additionally, the noise emissions are further reduced and the cabins have been better insulated, so that the noise level that the driver is subject to is at a comfortably low
level. The Agrotron X models are also pre-equipped for Agrosky, so that the track-guiding system can also be easily installed at any time.

Perfect overview
iMonitor operating terminal sets new standards

With the iMonitor, Deutz-Fahr presents a new control terminal for the Agrotron TTV 630. Clear, easy to operate and understand and equipped with additional useful functions, the TTV 630, as optional equipment for the top model of the Agrotron TTV series comes into operation. The new iMonitor not only allows the driver to set and control the tractor, but is also convincing through the new useful functions. The iMonitor is operated by a multi-controller, through which the driver sets and operates the tractor to the positions by pushing and turning the individual menus. This control corresponds to the operating principle now universally used by the premium automobile manufacturer for the control of navigation devices and similar menu-driven components.

The appealing graphic in the black display is convincing with the tidy and clear presentation and uses learnt and known symbols, so that the driver quickly acclimatizes. Operation is especially convenient, in that the driver can rest his arm on the armrest. Thus, no incorrect operations are caused through shaking during the journey.

With an integrated Bluetooth handsfree set, MP3 player, integrated radio and an automatic reversing camera, it brings already known and proven operating systems from the car into a tractor. The iMonitor can also be used for ISOBUS controlled devices, so that the driver only needs to view one terminal.

The iMonitor is available immediately as optional equipment for the Agrotron TTV 630.

Versatile Helper: Agrovector Telescopic Loader by Deutz-Fahr

The Agrovector 35.7 is now available and replaces the previous model 30.7 and has been upgraded by way of increased lifting capacity and a new cabin with greater comfort. Therefore, the Agrovector telescopic loader series now provides five models with lifting heights of 6.90 m to 8.90 m and lifting capacities of up to 4.0 t.

With the new model, Deutz-Fahr now complements the series downwards and continues the revision of the telescopic loader introduced in 2005. The lifting capacity of the new Agrovector 35.7 was increased to 3.5 tons as compared to the old model, whereas the new load-sensing hydraulic system, which is available on demand, guarantees oil delivery volume of 102 l/min. As with its larger brothers, the cabin interior was also improved in this Agrovector model, which ensures a significant improvement in driving comfort. The air conditioning system was also fully revised, which, due to higher performance and better air flow, now ensures a pleasant and cool cabin climate, particularly at high temperatures. The newly designed cabin also provides excellent all-round visibility: The driver can therefore see the dimensions, the loader and its attachment equipment better and better control the load; the work will be more relaxed and hence more productive.

New Combine Harvester Series 60 from Deutz-Fahr

The 2010 season is already casting its shadow and DEUTZ-FAHR is punctually rolling out the new Combine Harvester Series 60. The essential and proven properties acquired from 100 years of experience in harvesting technology have been retained nonetheless: High productivity, the most economical consumption, reliable drive, excellent maintainability and an excellent price/performance ratio. The Series 60 is equipped with the most modern Deutz engines and offers many new details besides the new cabin - Commander Cab IV – which improve threshing performance, economic viability and driving comfort.

Improved Maintenance
The new, modern design is striking through vertically fitted maintenance gates on both sides of the combine harvester. Each of the two large gates can be opened without tools and facilitate daily maintenance and service and also provide access to the engine and hydraulic system. An integrated ladder on the inner side of one of the maintenance gates is now always on board and allows access to all areas, even when in the field. Access to the cooling system is likewise facilitated by the new design.

The working and maintenance lighting system were also completely revised. Therefore, besides the six main spotlights and six work spotlights, the new Series 60 is equipped with eleven additional work spotlights all around the machine. In addition, if desired, cameras are available for the rear end and the unloading tube.

DEUTZ-FAHR provides rotation
Rotor combine harvesters of the 75 series

With the new high-performance combine harvester DEUTZ-FAHR 7545 RTS, the rotor technology makes its entry at DEUTZ-FAHR. Thus the machine, manufactured in the Croatian combine harvester factory at Zupanja, is suitable for the increased requirements of the farmers and contractors for more output and higher corn quality.

Equipped with the DEUTZ-FAHR cutting units with an operating width of 5.40 m to 7.20 m, the 7545 RTS henceforth supplements the 14 models of the comprehensive combine harvester program of DEUTZ-FAHR.

Furthermore, thanks to the axial cutting system, the combine harvester can be more easily adjusted to the changing operating conditions in the different types of fruit, as well as easier and, above all, quicker conversion.

The threshing system consists of a rotor, 3150 mm long and 750 mm diameter, offers a total threshing and separation area of 2.64 m² and, apart from the feed roller, also provides an additional outlet roller for the straw.

The drive for the rotor is hydrostatic and, thus, ensures absolute reliability of use with little wear and low maintenance. Ventilation of the screening box is provided by a 6-stage turbine fan. The cleaning area is designed with two drop heights. That ensures the highest purity of the goods at maximum output.

The new combine harvester has a modern 6-cylinder Deutz-Turbodiesel engine, Type TCD 2015 (V6) with a rating of 450 PS (331 kW). As standard, the model has all-wheel drive.

The corn tank of the DEUTZ-FAHR RTS has a capacity of 9000 litres. The comfort of ride is ensured by a spacious driver cabin with curved panes, perfect
sound-proofing and control of all machine functions is via a joystick and on-board computer with a touchscreen display.

Drive exactly in the track at each operation
Agrosky track-guiding systems reduces operating costs.

Satellite-supported, track guiding systems are becoming more standard on tractors. DEUTZ-FAHR Agrosky track guiding systems offer a repeatable precision of 30 to 2 cm - depending on the signal and receiver used. Thereby, there are several options on how far the steering aid can be automated. Decisive is the accuracy of the signal and also the steering aid. The basic model solely offers an optical steering aid, i.e. the track is displayed to the driver who steers himself. Besides upgrading using a mechanical, electrical steering aid on the steering wheel, there is also the option to install a hydraulic control unit in the power steering of the tractor. In each case, the suitable combination for the respective application can be discussed on-site with the dealer and our nationally operating specialist team. DEUTZ-FAHR Agrosky has the suitable answer for everyone.
