Back to news list NEW AGROPLUS 430 TTV FROM DEUTZ-FAHR, THE NEW AGROPLUS 430 TTV WITH CVT

Hanover, 11 November 2007
DEUTZ-FAHR is launching a new Agroplus model for open field work: the Agroplus 430 TTV.
The most important feature of this new tractor is its continuously variable transmission, introduced for the first time ever in a multipurpose tractor range of up to 100 HP.
First presented at Agritechnica 2007 in Hanover, the new Agroplus 430 TTV is equipped with a revolutionary transmission system designed by the Same Deutz-Fahr Group specifically for tractors of this power range.

A beautifully simple design has allowed a CVT transmission, normally found only on high power models, to be incorporated for the first time on a lightweight, multipurpose open field tractor. The Agroplus 430 TTV therefore offers great benefits in terms of efficiency and ergonomics.

Thanks to its revolutionary design, the new transmission is efficient enough to compare favourably with conventional mechanical systems. For example, the Agroplus 430 TTV accelerates to 40 kph in next to no time while maintaining an engine speed of only 1800 rpm, dramatically reducing fuel consumption. Speed is adjusted by means of the hand control lever, and the tractor can even be slowed down without having to use the brakes.

The Agroplus 430 TTV is equipped with a Deutz, 4 cylinder, turbo intercooled engine.
A steering angle of 55° ensures excellent manoeuvrability in all types of field work, while the CVT transmission means precision speed control for yard work and when making tight manoeuvres.

Since the PTO is fully independent, the Agroplus 430 TTV lets you change ground speed to suit conditions without affecting power output at the PTO or engine speed. This is for example particularly useful in precision crop spraying operations.

The Agroplus 430 TTV transmission also incorporates the Power-Brake service/parking brake system. This hydraulically releases the service/parking brake when the engine starts, gives better performance than a conventional hand brake, is more ergonomic to use, and already respects the future EEC Directive 5099/rev.15 (N109CEMA) on safety.

Its generous level of standard equipment makes the DEUTZ-FAHR Agroplus 430 TTV an ideal working companion in all situations. Equipment includes: three speed PTO (540/750/1000 rpm or 540/1000/Synchro rpm); electrohydraulic differential locking; open centre hydraulic system with 60 l/min pump; and a rear lift capacity of 3600 kg.

The Agroplus 430 TTV is an impressively versatile and productive tractor. Able to excel in all types of field work, it also offers a high level of comfort in transport and for yard work. Its revolutionary transmission system introduces new standards of simplicity, efficiency and operator wellbeing to the Agroplus range.
