Back to news list AGROTRON K ALL-NEW TIER III ENGINES INTRODUCED TO THE AGROTRON K Hanover, 11 November 2007
In order to comply with the TIER III standards on exhaust gas emissions all new models in the Agrotron K range will be fitted with the latest TIER III engines. DEUTZ series 2012 turbo intercooled engines differ from the current models due to their improved injection system. Engines used in the K610 and K430 models will be upgraded with the new DEUTZ Common-Rail (DCR®) high-pressure injection system, together with an improved cooling system.

The 2012 series 4 and 6-cylinder water-cooled engines, feature an intercooler, 4.0 or 6.1 l cylinder capacity and a modern internal exhaust gas recirculation system.

On the outside, the new Agrotron K tractors are distinguished by their new model names: besides indicating the cylinder capacity of the engine (4 for a 4-litre engine and 6 for a 6-litre engine), the new names include a number which refers to the model’s performance level, beginning from ‘10’ for models with the lowest engine power.
